If you want to change the lives of women and girls across Canada, donating to Canadian Women’s Foundation is the way to do it. Since 1991 we have donated more than $17.5 million to 825 grassroots initiatives across the country that are helping to end violence against women, move low-income women out of poverty, and build strong, resilient girls. We are connected to more than 3,000 women’s organizations, and invest in the most effective approaches to creating long-term, sustainable change for women and girls in Canada.
As support for the Canadian Women’s Foundation increases, so does our ability to
- fund more initiatives
- increase the capacity of women’s organizations across the country
- develop national strategies to address the challenges facing women and girls
and ultimately, to change the lives of women and girls across Canada.
As a donor to CWF, you have a number of options in deciding how your money is invested. These include:
- Making a general donation (which will be allocated where it’s need most)
- Designating a donation to one our three areas of work:
- Designating a donation to one of our special funds
- Designating a donation to Shelter from the Storm, our national fundraising campaign to end violence against women
